UBC Arts Instructional Support & Information Technology was presented the NMC's Center of Excellence award at the 2007 NMC Summer Conference in Indianapolis. Otis was recognized for their leadership and broad support of open source solutions.
This is their own video shown at the conference that demonstrates with a good sense or humor just some of the reasons they have earned this award.

2004 NMC Summer Conference

The 2004 NMC Summer Conference was held June 16-19, 2004, in Vancouver, British Columbia. More than 450 people attended the event, with another 300 registered for the Summer Online Conference. The hosts of the conference were the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Sciences at the University of British Columbia.
