NMC Announces 2007 Call to Membership

We are getting ready to sent out a brand new NMC brochure to be sent to prospective member organizations. It is also available on the new web site (Download Memberhip Brochure [124k PDF]) and members are welcome to use it to inform colleagues about us.

NMC Announces Call for Membership Applications
Posted September 6th, 2006 by NMCWith an announcement to innovative leaders, faculty, and staff across the higher education community, the New Media Consortium (NMC) today announced a special Call for Membership Applications.
The NMC is an international 501(c)3 not-for-profit consortium of over 200 leading colleges, universities, museums, corporations, and other learning-focused organizations dedicated to the exploration and use of new media and new technologies. In 2006 a new cohort of member institutions will be admitted into the consortium as part of a worldwide search for excellence. The institutions selected, like the current NMC member institutions, will be outstanding innovators, committed to pushing the boundaries of teaching, learning and creative expression, and adept in the application of technology.
