Lodging Information

Several options for hotel or dorm accommodations have been made for conference attendees to choose from. Please call your hotel directly to make your reservations. Be sure to mention the New Media Consortium to receive the special rates. The deadline has been extended to May, 19 2003, therefore, there is still time to insure a room and the special rates. Be sure to call before it is to late. Dorm registrations should be made online using the link specified below.

	Four Points Sheraton Hotel 900 Prices Fork Road, Blacksburg, VA 24060 (540) 552-7001; (540) 552-3421 fax Room rate $80 Preconference session attendees and early arrivers to the conference should plan to stay at the Sheraton or the dorms. Buses will run continuously to campus beginning at 8 am June 11.
The Sheraton Hotel is located 5 minutes from campus. Complimentary shuttles will be provided to and from the hotel to campus continuously throughout the conference.

The Donaldson Brown Hotel and Conference Center is located on the campus of Virginia Tech.
	Virginia Tech Dorm Lodging Single rate: $32.25 plus tax Double rate: $22.50 plus tax Breakfast for June 12-14 is included and the cost of $12.75 plus tax will be added to the bill. Preconference session attendees should plan to stay at the Sheraton or the dorms.

Transportation to/from Blacksburg and Roanoke Airport

Transportation to and from the Roanoke Airport to the Donaldson Brown Conference Center and the Sheraton Four Points Hotel is available through Roanoke/Blacksburg Transportation Van Shuttle. Rates are $30 per person, one way. Payment is to be received when boarding. The shuttle schedule is as follows:
